About MakingWaves

This email list is maintained by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Division of Water. The purpose is to provide information to those interested in new developments that affect the waters of New York State. The Division of Water sends a MakingWaves email every Thursday.

You will only receive information from NYSDEC. Your email address will NOT be shared with anyone outside of NYSDEC because we respect your privacy and the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) provides an exception for protection of personal information.
