The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is committed to informing and involving the public during the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites located within Orleans County, which are being addressed under the State's various remedial programs. As a member of this electronic list, DEC will periodically send you site-related information/announcements for all contaminated sites in the county.

You will only receive information from NYSDEC. Your email address will NOT be shared with anyone outside of NYSDEC because we respect your privacy and the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) provides an exception for protection of personal information.
