Her office offers BOW Destination trips - trips and adventures open to women from any state or province. These trips usually fill quickly so if you are interested get in touch with the contact person listed (if any) or Peggy. Dear Friends and Supporters of Becoming an Outdoors-Woman: The International Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program is pleased to announce the opening of a new "Destinations" adventure trip for January 2010. Longtime BOW instructors and trip-leaders Sterling Strathe and Pat Marinac are leading this 3rd annual adventure to Costa Rica. Visit www.uwsp.edu/cnr/bow for all the exciting details and our easy SECURE way to register for the trip. This is one of our most popular destinations, so register soon to reserve your place! Next up will be a new adventure to Baja Mexico in late April 2010. This trip is being led our original Bahama Mama, Tara Short. Tara taught for our 2003 and 2004 adventures on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. She has been sharing her passion for wild places and eco-adventure with groups of many years. This trip is specially tailored for BOW women. Watch the website for opening of registration soon. We are also working a couple of wilderness trips in Wyoming and Montana for summer 2010 so visit our website for future updates. And as always, your wonderful BOW coordinators in states and provinces across North America bring you the traditional 3-day BOW workshops and Beyond BOW events throughout the year.
