Attached is a brochure about a program being offering in Westport this summer. The 3-day workshop is called: Wild Science - Bridging Outdoor Education with Classroom Science, and combines eight break-out sessions of life science programming with a stay at a historic estate on the rocky shoreline of Lake Champlain in Westport, NY. There is 1 graduate credit through SUNY Plattsburgh pending. Space is limited so use the contact info in the brochure to register or to get more information. We are planning a Becoming an Outdoors-Woman camping workshop the weekend of July 16-18, 2010 at Mongaup Pond Campground in Sullivan County, NY (in the southern Catskills). This workshop will be focused on camping skills and other outdoor skills that come in handy (or are fun) while camping. No previous camping experience is necessary, however you will need to bring your own tent and sleeping bag. BOW staff will be on hand to help you get your tent set up if needed!
