It is just one day, women age 12 and over are welcome and it is free. Time is short though as you must postmark your registrations by March 26. See the details below. Please do not hit reply or email me for more information. I am just passing this along as something you might be interested in. The contact person is listed at the end. The Onondaga County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs is again sponsoring a "Women in Nature" event this year -- a free, day-long series of workshops focusing on introductory outdoor skills. This year's program, open to women only, is being held April 26 at the Pompey Rod and Gun Club, on Swift Road in Pompey. The tentative course list includes archery, wild game cooking, traditional and fly fishing, outdoor photography, canoeing, wildflower identification, birding, survival, skeet and target shooting, dog training, wildlife habitat and gardening. For more information, write to Women in Nature, P.O. Box 163, Manlius, N.Y. 13104, email womeninnature at aol.com, or call Julie Fishman at (315) 682-6463. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Last year, about 80 women participated, from ages 12 on up. Mother/daughter applications are encouraged. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
