While contaminants of concern were detected in the sediment and surface water in Ley Creek, the data demonstrate that the current impacts to Ley Creek are not attributable to the site. Rather, sampling has shown that upstream sources, not associated with this site, are impacting the creek. As described in the attached, DEC invites you to a public meting to discuss the proposed remedy for the Crouse-Hinds Landfills State Superfund Site.
