Subject: [Pesticideupdates] Pesticide Applicator Exam Schedule

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's schedule of upcoming pesticide applicator exams is now posted on the DEC website.  You can access it from the Pesticide Certification and Registration page http://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/209.html  at the bottom under the heading "More About Pesticide Certification and Registration".  The first link under that heading is for the Statewide Pesticide Exam Calendar.

PLEASE NOTE:  You must contact the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation regional office offering the exam to pre-register. "Walk-Ins" are NOT allowed! When you pre-register, you will need to provide proof of eligibility to sit for the exam. You can also obtain information about exam fees, location and time of the exam, and any special requirements for taking the exam. This is also a good time to ask any questions you may have about the certification process.
