Also attached are agendas. Excerpts from Commissioner Grannis' letter: "The September roundtable will feature outside experts and focus on current and pending state, local and international chemicals policies and opportunities for collaboration between government and the private sector. The October roundtable will focus on the multiple initiatives being pursued and considered in New York State to green the economy, drive innovation and share information up and down the supply chain. Our goal for these discussions is to increase awareness of the broad range of options available to address chemicals policy issues among New York State policymakers, including agency and legislative staff, business representatives, non-governmental organizations and academic experts. Panelists will include representatives from the United States, Canada, international policy experts, business representatives, academics and non-governmental organizations." There is no fee to attend this event. However, pre-registration is required by September 25, and October 23, respectively. Panel discussions will begin at 10 AM.
