Come visit Reinstein Woods to enjoy the seasonal changes and a great variety of educational programs for all ages. Visit http://www.dec.ny.gov/education/1977.html to view the Winter 2010-2011 program schedule online, and check out what's happening in the woods from December 2010 through February 2011. Join us at the Winter Wonderland in the Woods on Saturday, December 11 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Kids can make winter crafts and holiday gifts from recycled materials, try a pair of snowshoes (regardless of the weather!), and listen to nature stories read by a special guest. Families can enjoy displays on "greening" their holidays, take a guided "signs of the season" walk in the woods, and snack on treats offered by Friends of Reinstein.
